Project Objective / Scope
The consultant will support a large-scale aviation Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) transformation initiative, specifically:
- Conduct case for change and system evaluation (e.g., IFS, Trax, AMOS, SAP, Ramco).
- Drive business process discussions and facilitate adaptation, serving as a bridge between business and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with M&E business and IT stakeholders to define, refine, and align IT and business requirements.
- Lead client workshops to understand current (as-is) processes and design target (to-be) future processes.
- Conduct detailed process mapping for all M&E business processes supply chain, maintenance, planning, and technical areas.
- Challenge existing processes, lead thoughtful discussions, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Document required reports, forms, and user profiles for the future state system.
- Provide regular progress updates to program leadership.
- Independently lead design discussions with business stakeholders to drive high-value, impactful outcomes.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and system requirements in a clear, structured manner.
Ideal Profile
- Deep understanding of aviation Maintenance & Engineering functions (doesn't need to cover all areas).
- Practical experience in M&E systems such as IFS, Trax, AMOS, SAP, or Ramco.
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Able to travel within Asia Pacific as required.
- Language: English (Japanese or Cantonese a plus)
