Role Summary

We are a growing AV rental and event production company looking for an AV Technician or Senior AV Technician to support and lead the deployment of professional AV systems and LED walls across events and productions.

We operate a lean, fast-paced team, and this role plays an important part in maintaining equipment discipline, guiding AV crews and ensuring deployments run smoothly.

Our projects primarily support exhibitions, business conferences and corporate summits, rather than large-scale concerts or touring productions.

This position acts as a technical lead within the team, supporting consistent execution across AV deployments and event productions. The role is trusted to guide AV crew and technicians on-site and help maintain technical standards across daily operations.

The role also helps maintain technical discipline across deployments and provides guidance to AV crew on equipment handling and setup standards.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead setup and teardown of professional AV systems and LED wall deployments for events and productions

. Act as technical lead on-site for selected jobs and deployments

. Provide technical direction to AV crew during preparation and on-site deployments

. Guide and coordinate AV crew during deployments

. Ensure proper equipment testing, packing and readiness before jobs

. Maintain warehouse organisation and equipment discipline

. Assign preparation tasks and maintain workflow order in the warehouse

. Troubleshoot AV system, signal routing or display issues during setup or live operation

. Support development of AV crew technical capability

. Identify recurring operational or technical issues observed during deployments

. Work with the team to propose practical solutions and improvements

. Contribute to development and refinement of operational SOPs to prevent repeat issues

. Protect equipment standards and reduce damage or loss

Requirements

. 3-8 years experience in professional AV, event production or live technical operations

. Strong troubleshooting ability across AV systems, signal routing and event display systems

. Experience guiding or leading AV crew and technicians during deployments

. Strong equipment handling discipline and warehouse organisation mindset

. Calm decision-making under pressure

. Responsible and structured work approach

. Good communication skills and teamwork

. Candidates should be comfortable explaining previous AV deployments they personally executed, including equipment setup, signal routing and troubleshooting steps

Experience working with LED wall deployments, corporate events, exhibitions or conference AV setups is advantageous.

Driving licence is an advantage but not required.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience who are ready to step into a lead role are encouraged to apply.

Experience in audio visual systems, LED wall setup, event production, exhibitions, or conference AV setups is advantageous.
