AV technican

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual (AV) equipment, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues during events, meetings, and presentations.
• Install and configure AV systems in conference rooms, auditoriums, and other venues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and software updates on AV equipment.
• Provide technical support for live streaming, webinars, and video conferencing platforms.
• Ensure proper cable management and equipment storage.
• Collaborate with event organizers and IT teams to meet AV requirements.
• Maintain inventory records of AV equipment and accessories.

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec in electrical/electronics or certification in Audio-Visual Technology, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AV technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV systems, including soundboards and video mixers.
• Knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
