We are looking for an AV Service Technician to join our Post-Sales Services Team. You'll support our clients by ensuring their Audio-Visual systems remain reliable, operational and performing at their best.
This role offers excellent exposure to a wide range of professional AV technologies and solutions while providing a structured pathway to grow into our Commissioning Team for advanced engineering opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Attend assigned service calls and fault tickets to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues on professional Audio-Visual systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, routine system inspections and health checks to maximise system reliability and minimise downtime.
Service, repair and replace defective Audio-Visual equipment, ensuring systems are fully operational before completing each service call.
Provide on-site technical support to ensure the reliable operation of Audio-Visual systems across various client environments, meetings, presentations and events.
Work collaboratively with internal Engineers and our partners to investigate and resolve complex technical issues beyond routine service scope.
Conduct functional testing and recommend corrective or preventive actions to maintain optimal system performance.
Prepare accurate service reports and ensure all maintenance records and documentation are completed promptly.
Take ownership of assigned service cases by maintaining professional communication with clients, providing timely updates, and working diligently to resolve technical issues while delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
Support internal and external events when required.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year experience in troubleshooting, servicing or maintaining professional Audio-Visual systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
Customer-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Relevant Audio-Visual certifications (e.g. Q-SYS, Bosch, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Microsoft Teams Rooms, etc) will be an advantage.
Possess a Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
