Troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repair and complete overhaul of automotive gearbox, differential gears, rear axle and steering box.
Perform quality functional testing for gearbox. Prepare all tools to mount and dismount product for test bench at workshop
Disassemble and re-assemble of engine, transmission gearbox, differential and rear axle and any other sub-components of buses at workshop or at external maintenance worksites
Commission of new gearbox using Maker's diagnostic equipment or software and conduct road trials
Adhere to workshop Health and Safety procedures
Apply Risk Assessments at work.
Daily Housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining personal hand-tools and equipment to ensure functionality.
Maintain all PPE in working conditions to ensure their functionality.
Requirements
Possesses at least Nitec in Automotive or relevant subjects.
Open to work on marine gearbox when necessary.
Possesses Class 3 or 4 driving license issued by Traffic Police with 2 or more years of driving experience without demerit points.
