About This Role

We are hiring an Automotive Systems Specialist (experienced) or Vehicle Electronics Technician (junior / trainee) to join our on-site workshop team. If you have a background in automotive work and take pride in clean, precise, high-quality installation - we want to hear from you.

We also welcome candidates from automotive mechanical or electrical backgrounds who are motivated to cross-train into retrofit and accessories installation. If you are hands-on, keen to learn and physically fit, apply.

What You Will Do

- Install OE factory-options retrofit systems on premium vehicles - ambient lighting, camera systems, digital cockpit upgrades and accessories

- Fit and integrate dashcam systems with clean, concealed wiring and professional cable management

- Remove and refit interior trims carefully - zero creaks, zero marks, zero shortcuts

- Perform electrical diagnostics using brand-specific tools (BMW ISTA, Mercedes XENTRY or equivalent)

- Route and protect wiring correctly - loom wrapping, heat shielding, proper connector terminations

- Inspect all completed work before vehicle handover

- (Senior hires) Coach and guide junior technicians

Salary and Career Path

Junior / Trainee: $2,400 - $2,600 basic + 0.5% incentive after 3 months

Mid-level (1-3 yrs): $2,800 - $3,200 basic + 0.75% incentive

Senior / Experienced (3+ yrs): $3,400 - $3,800 basic + 1% incentive

Career stages:

Stage 1 - Vehicle Electronics Technician (Trainee): 0 to 6 months, $2,400 - $2,600

Stage 2 - Vehicle Electronics Technician: 6 to 18 months, $2,800 - $3,200

Stage 3 - Automotive Systems Specialist: 18 to 36 months, $3,400 - $3,800

Stage 4 - Lead Specialist / Workshop Trainer: 36 months and above, $3,800 - $4,500+

Annual Wage Supplement (AWS / 13th month bonus) considered for confirmed staff.

What We Need

Essential:

- Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident

- Physically fit and able to handle sustained hands-on installation work

- Hands-on experience in automotive work - mechanical, electrical, accessories or related

- Comfortable removing and reinstalling interior trims without damage

- High attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality

- Willing to learn and be coached

- Valid Class 3 / 3A driving licence

Advantageous:

- Experience with premium European brands (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volvo)

- Familiarity with OBD or brand-specific diagnostic software

- Prior dashcam, aftermarket audio or car electronics installation experience

- ITE / Nitec in Automotive Technology, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
