Job Summary
This retail sales role involves assisting customers with automotive accessory selections, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store appearance and stock levels in a supportive environment with training provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers by identifying and recommending suitable car accessories to meet their needs
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective customer engagement and product knowledge
- Maintain the retail store's appearance by organizing displays and ensuring stock levels are replenished promptly
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of car cleaning and maintenance to support customer inquiries
- Adapt to rotating shift schedules and work retail hours totaling 44 hours per week over 4.5 days
Required competencies and certifications
- ITE Certificate, Diploma, or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automotive, Mechanical, or Service-related fields
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Interest in cars and automotive accessories to enhance customer service quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to retail work environment and schedules
