Automotive Electrical Engineer, IoT Specialist

Our client is a progressive Internet of Things (IoT) SaaS software company. We are sourcing on behalf of our client for an IOT Specialist (Technical Support), based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
• Onsite hands-on wiring installation for GPS tracker in vehicles
• Research and identify solutions to hardware and software issues
• Communicate with clients via phone, email or chat, to resolve technical issues
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
• Ensure all issues are properly logged, documentation of technical notes

Requirements

• Automotive industry, electrical engineering background advantageous
• Previous work experience in technical support
• Client-facing communication skills
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Familiar with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
