Job Description
Senior Automation Test Engineer
Core Stack: WebDriverIO / Selenium, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java, CI/CD Pipelines
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch using WebDriverIO or Selenium.
- Write clean, maintainable, and robust automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) for continuous testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure high test coverage.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures, triage bugs, and track them through resolution.
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation using WebDriverIO or Selenium.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design patterns and asynchronous programming (Promises/Async-Await).
- Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and database validation.
- Proven track record of debugging flaky tests and optimizing execution speed.
