The role seeks a seasoned professional to contribute to the growth and delivery of the Supply Chain Development & Analytics department.
It requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse operations, and expertise in managing complex automation projects.
The role ensures the supply chain is aligned with overall business objectives and capable of meeting customer demand.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Design: Develop a comprehensive strategy for warehouse automation. Design and customize automation solutions, covering layout, system integration, and process reengineering, in collaboration with vendors.
Project Leadership: Lead and oversee the implementation of large-scale warehouse automation projects from inception to completion, managing timelines and budgets meticulously. This includes implementing end-to-end change management processes.
Risk & Compliance: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for business continuity. Ensure all automation solutions comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Performance & Innovation: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure performance, and continuously monitor and implement improvements. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, and lead pilot projects to test new automation technologies.
Key Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of direct experience with warehouse automation technologies (robotics, AS/RS, conveyor systems, WMS, and IoT devices).
Expertise: In-depth understanding of warehouse automation technologies, material handling equipment, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, including end-to-end change management.
Acumen: Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking to align initiatives with long-term business objectives, and financial acumen in budgeting, cost analysis, and ROI calculations.
Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory knowledge, safety protocols, compliance standards, vendor selection processes, and contract negotiations.
