We are seeking an experienced Automation / Infrastructure Engineer to support Industrial Automation, DCS, and IT/OT Infrastructure activities within pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturing environments. The role will support automation systems reliability, infrastructure integration, troubleshooting, and project execution activities across GMP-regulated manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS), automation platforms, and related infrastructure systems within manufacturing environments.
- Provide technical support for IT/OT integration, industrial network infrastructure, and plant connectivity systems.
- Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities for automation and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate automation project activities, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, validation, and quality teams to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Support documentation activities including SOPs, technical specifications, change controls, and system records.
- Participate in system testing, commissioning, startup, and operational support activities where required.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and site operational procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders for issue resolution and project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Automation, Instrumentation, DCS, or Industrial Infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or industrial process environments.
- Exposure to Industrial Automation Systems, DCS platforms, IT/OT integration, and network infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills within operational manufacturing environments.
- Experience working within GMP-regulated environments
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional project teams.
