We are seeking a Junior Automation Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens PLC systems within a manufacturing or life sciences environment. The role involves supporting and developing automation solutions, troubleshooting PLC systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide automation support and development for Siemens PLC systems used in pharmaceutical/biotech operations.
- Perform troubleshooting, configuration, and testing of PLC control logic, hardware, and interfaces.
- Support the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of automation solutions to meet production and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure GMP compliance and system reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and support system upgrades.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Siemens PLC experience.
- Background in automation engineering within a pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, system integration, and technical documentation skills.
- Knowledge of GMP, data integrity, and validation processes is an advantage.
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field).
