Job Summary
Carry out Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) design and implementation for construction projects, driving successful project delivery through technical expertise, coordination, and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) systems tailored to construction project requirements
- Manage procurement, costing, and timely delivery of electrical software and hardware to meet project specifications
- Develop and program PLC systems according to clients technical specifications, ensuring functional and reliable automation solutions
- Coordinate with contractors to oversee control panel, electrical equipment, and component delivery, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards
- Organize and lead on-site testing and commissioning activities to validate system performance and compliance
- Diagnose and resolve EICA breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity
- Facilitate technical meetings with subcontractors and clients to clarify requirements and coordinate project arrangements
- Maintain systematic records of EICA designs, drawings, and documentation for project tracking and future reference
- Collaborate with Sales Department and Maintenance Team by providing technical support and assistance to enhance project outcomes
- Execute other ad-hoc assignments as required to support project and organizational goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in programming and troubleshooting PLCs including Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, ABB, and Omron
- Skilled in using SCADA and HMI systems for automation control and monitoring
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation projects
