Automation Engineer

Our client is a Global MNC company in the Manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Automation Engineer to join their Engineering team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Lead automation engineering systems and process development, ensuring alignment with safety, performance, and production standards.

• Establish and execute validation and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) through FEED, testing, installation, commissioning, and handover to production.

• Partner with internal cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions, design experiments, and create validation/qualification procedures and checklists to meet company, customer, and governance requirements.

• Develop and conduct testing protocols, including concept approval testing, result analysis, documentation updates, and maintaining accurate activity logs.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, including machine calibration, repair, FAT/SAT completion, and coordination of machine qualification with suppliers and internal teams.

• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, supporting root cause analysis (RCA), process FMEA, 5S, Gemba walk, 5-Why, and training of operations and maintenance staff.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma / Degree of Engineering in Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.

• Previous 3-6 years experience as a validation engineer or in a similar role.

• Hands on experience in debugging automation on site
