Job Description

Position : Automation Engineer (PLC / Controls)
Location : Henderson Road
Working hours : Monday - Friday 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $5000 + 14 Days Leave + Variable Bonus
Duration : Permanent
Industry : IT/Software

Main Responsibilities:

Lead installation, commissioning, and system integration activities
Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
Design, develop, and enhance automation and control solutions
Program, modify, and optimize PLC and HMI systems
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering professional growth
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
Support project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
Strong hands-on expertise in: Automation and control systems Electrical schematics and system integration Mechanical troubleshooting
