Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate DeltaV Batch Projects as per ISA-88 standards.
• Develop and test Control Modules (CM), Equipment Modules (EM), Phases, and Batch Recipes.
• Commission and qualify automation systems, including hot loop checks and IOQ protocols.
• Execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols on-site.
• Perform code reviews, internal testing, and SFAT testing with clients.
• Create and maintain validation documentation (URS, FS, DS, RTM, PCR).
• Develop and modify process graphics in DeltaV Graphic Studio as per P&ID.
• Implement process changes through change control management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for commissioning, troubleshooting, and C&Q support.
• Ensure adherence to GAMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in Designing, Developing and Validation of DeltaV Batch Projects.
• DeltaV Batch Process development as per ISA-88 standards.
• Batch Programming & Recipe Development - CM, EM, Phases, Unit Procedures.
• Process Graphic Development in DeltaV Graphic Studio.
• Familiarity with Industrial Communication Protocols: Modbus RS485/232, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.
• Knowledge of Validation Processes and documentation generation.
• Strong understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP, GDP compliance.
• Experience with Computer System Validation (IQ, OQ).
