About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Automation Application Engineer to support our range of industrial automation products. This role combines technical support, solution consultation, and customer engagement across pre-sales and post-sales stages.
You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and product principals to deliver effective automation solutions and ensure strong technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical support for a full range of industrial automation products
- Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, application notes, and solution-related documentation to support sales activities
- Handle customer enquiries and troubleshoot technical issues via email, phone, or onsite visits
- Conduct product training sessions and live demonstrations for customers and support the sales team in driving business growth
- Build strong relationships with customers and principals, gather feedback, and recommend product improvements to enhance competitiveness
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering or related field
- No experience is required as on job training will be provided
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is an advantage
- Interest in automation and industrial technologies
- Knowledge of PLC, control systems, automation, or IoT is a plus
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
