Machine Operation: Ensure smooth operation of machines under your care. Following 5S principles for workspace organization and cleanliness.
Machine Efficiency: Uphold the machine efficiency of the machines under your care through proper preventive tool maintenance, effective troubleshooting listed below.
Tool Maintenance: Monitor tool wear and perform routine maintenance on cutting tools to ensure peak performance and minimal waste.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to machine performance, tooling, and programming, applying problem-solving techniques rooted in LEAN methodologies.
Part Yield Count: This metric is a major component of your performance. Not only the output of the machine, but the parts produced must also be of good quality through proper quality control process.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections and quality checks to meet the standards and specifications of the machines in use, minimizing defects.
Innovation: Demonstrate a proactive can do attitude by researching and proposing alternate ways of production within the automatic lathe boundary when existing methods are inadequate, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and production data for the specific machine groups in use.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including CNC operators and engineers, to optimize production processes and achieve production targets through LEAN practices.
