Job Description

. Create shop drawings based on client given information, specifications and calculations. Incorporating all the details in the drawings

. Make the drawings in keeping with company standards

. Provide MTO based on drawing details

. Maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Leads.

. Drawing tasks will include but not limited to development and maintenance of a drawing numbering system, proper control of revisions received either from client, regulatory authority or internally generated requirement

. Lead piping team in drafting standard

. Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments when necessary

. Liaise with the design specialists on drawings, amendment and re-submission to clients

. Assist in conducting site measurement and inspections

. Attend site and office meetings and prepare progress reports

. To study project and design basis such as scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification, client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experiences in the same field
• Able to read P&ID drawings, update as-built (e.g. redline)
• Knowledge and experience with HVAC systems
• Must be able to work in an environment with schedules and priorities
• Hands on knowledge on AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge and experience with SpoolGen set up for project will be advantageous
