Audit Senior / Audit Associate (External Audit)

Job Summary

The Audit Senior / Audit Associate is responsible for supporting and executing audit engagements, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with clients, evaluating internal controls, and contributing to high-quality audit reporting. The position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and complete audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards

• Prepare and review financial statements and related schedules

• Evaluate internal control systems and identify areas for improvement

• Provide practical recommendations to enhance financial and operational processes

• Liaise with clients to obtain required information and clarify audit matters

• Assist in preparing audit reports and supporting documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting, auditing, and regulatory requirements

• Apply sound audit, accounting, and financial reporting principles in daily work

• Maintain accurate and complete audit documentation

• Meet project timelines and quality standards

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification

• Strong sense of responsibility with a hardworking and positive attitude

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting software is an advantage
