Job Description & Responsibilities
- Serve a diversified local and international client base
- Internal audit, special projects, transaction services and due diligence work
- Develop audit programs and carry out audit field work
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely submission of deliverables
- Provide on the job training and guidance to seniors and associates
- Prepare clear and concise internal audit reports to Management/Board for corrective actions
- Possible secondment to affiliated Chartered Accountant Firm to lead audit teams in the execution of risk-based statutory audit assignments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia
- Minimum 5 to 7 years work experience in audit
- Ability to handle a portfolio of clients across industries, and planning, leading and managing the audit assignments
Special Skills
- Candidates should possess good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Candidates must also be prepared to work in a multi-cultural environment with cross-functional collaboration and travel, particularly to Asian countries
- Proficiency in an additional Asian Language is highly desired (in order to handle queries, feedbacks and concerns from Asian Language speaking associates)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
