We are looking for a focused and technically sound Audit Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a small-to-mid-firm environment, valuing the ability to see an audit through from planning to completion while mentoring the next generation of auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement Leadership: Lead statutory audit engagements in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Portfolio & Project Management: Strategize audit timelines, monitor budgets, and manage resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of audit reports.
Technical Quality Control: Perform rigorous reviews of audit working papers and financial statements provide guidance on complex accounting treatments and internal control improvements.
Client Advisory: Serve as the primary liaison for clients, building long-term relationships and providing insightful feedback on business processes.
Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Audit Seniors and Associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA).
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of external audit experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager capacity.
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with the Singapore Companies Act, SSA, and SFRS. Proficiency in audit software (e.g., Caseware) is highly preferred.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple teams and tight deadlines, especially during the annual audit peak.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
