Primary Objectives of Position:
- Develop audit programmes for SBST Rail departments to ensure compliance of CP6, CP7 and to prepare for LTA- RR audits
- Coordinate and prepare SBST Rail departments to maintain their BCM readiness
- Assist and support the safety and security requirements for IMS audits
Major Responsibilities:
- Review and revise audits checklist to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of internal CP6, CP7 and pre-LTA RR audits
- Conduct audits on relevant SBST Rail departments to maintain compliance with CP6, CP7 and for pre-LTA RR audits
- Conduct WI/RA reviews and pre-audit checks to prepare departments for LTA-RR audits
- Coordinate and liaise with SBST Rail departments to maintain their pool of BCM Champions and Internal Auditors for BCM
- Coordinate and conduct annual internal BCM audits of SBST Rail departments
- Coordinate SBST Rail departments for annual BCM surveillance or re-certification audits
- Assist and support Rail Performance Management department (PM) on safety and security requirements during IMS audits
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support the Risk, Governance and Emergency Preparedness sections of RGAEP
Specific Safety Responsibility:
- Develop relevant safety procedures for SBST Rail
Job Specifications:
- Possess a recognized Degree/Diploma in any discipline OR
- Approval by Ministry of Manpower to act as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer
- Minimum 3 years of work experience relevant to safety management or railway operations
