We are working with a global professional services MNC in search for a high-calibre quality management professional to support the Head of Quality Management in strengthening and overseeing the firm's quality management framework. This is a firmwide role with strong visibility, offering exposure to audit engagement oversight, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with SSQM (ISQM 1 & 2).
This role is ideal for an experienced audit or compliance professional who is passionate about audit quality, governance, and regulatory excellence, and who enjoys influencing quality culture across a large professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct firmwide quality management reviews to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of quality standards, policies, and practices, including SSQM-related initiatives.
- Assist with internal quality reviews and external inspections by regulators (e.g. ACRA, PCAOB) and global network reviewers.
- Participate in audit engagement oversight, providing technical input and quality-focused feedback.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, including preparing inspection materials, coordinating reviews, and responding to inquiries.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality findings and contribute to remediation planning.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate coaching, training, and mentoring to enhance technical capabilities and quality awareness across the firm.
- Analyse quality trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal governance forums and quality committees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent (professional qualification preferred).
- A minimum of 10 solid years in a similar quality, compliance, or audit oversight role within a large international or professional services firm.
- Strong experience in quality reviews, internal audit, or audit compliance.
- Solid understanding of SSQM / ISQM, regulatory frameworks, and inspection processes.
- Prior exposure to ACRA, PCAOB, or global network inspections is highly desirable.
- Able to work independently with strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the firm.
