Role Description

The Audiometric Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The technician will assist audiologists by performing diagnostic hearing tests, maintaining testing equipment, and ensuring accurate patient records. Responsibilities include administering and documenting hearing assessments, preparing examination rooms and equipment, counseling patients on basic hearing health, and supporting the audiology team in delivering top-tier patient care. The role requires consistent communication with patients and colleagues to ensure a welcoming and efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in performing hearing tests, hearing screenings, and ear-related diagnostic procedures.
  • Pediatric experience will be advantageous as this role involves both adults and pediatric.
  • Technical knowledge of audiometric equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and counseling.
  • Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to maintain a patient-focused and empathetic approach in a clinical environment.
  • Prior experience in audiology or a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in audiometry or a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing time effectively and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
