Responsibilities
- Assist Audiologists in performing basic audiological assessments and procedures. Prepare and check audiology equipment prior to clinical sessions maintain accurate maintenance records. Support patient preparation and provide instructions on hearing aid usage and maintenance. Manage patient inquiries and escalate clinical matters as required. Coordinate patient appointments and maintain accurate inventory records for hearing aids and clinic supplies. Liaise with healthcare professionals and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery. Participate in quality improvement projects and assist with departmental documentation and reports. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Audiology, Hearing Sciences, Biomedical/Healthcare-related disciplines or equivalent. Relevant experience in audiology, hearing aid services, or a clinical support environment is advantageous. Basic understanding of audiological procedures and technology is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patient groups. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining precise records. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced clinical setting. Commitment to patient care and continuous learning in the field of audiology.
