Audiologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough hearing assessments using diagnostic audiology equipment.
- Diagnose hearing impairments and recommend appropriate treatment options.
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
- Counsel clients and their families on hearing loss management and device usage.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all treatments are documented appropriately.
- Provide ongoing follow-up care to ensure client satisfaction and device performance.
- Conduct hearing aid validation and verification.
- Facilitate aural rehabilitation.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Audiology (or equivalent).
- Some professional experience in audiology is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of audiometric testing and hearing aid fitting, including ear impression taking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with patients of all ages. Advantage if can speak least 1 Chinese dialect fluently.
- Compassionate, client-focused attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
