AUDIO-VISUAL (AV) EXECUTIVE

BEDOK METHODIST CHURCH invites a proactive and reliable individual to be part of this vibrant ministry to deliver quality worship experiences to our members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will provide livestream, multi-media, sound, lighting, stage set-up, communications and audio-visual support for Bedok Methodist Church's events, trainings, meetings, and worship services.

Your primary duties include operation and maintenance of AV and multi-media equipment and software video recording of events supporting the related committees and liaising with vendors and external users.

In addition, you will also need to manage, maintain, evaluate, and acquire AV and multi-media hardware and software.

This position requires working on weekends and evenings.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Work with Worship and Music Ministry to livestream worship services, events, trainings, meetings, weddings, and church events requiring AV support.

2. Perform on-site troubleshooting in the event of system failures (isolate problems with AV systems and make equipment substitutions to provide immediate resolution).

3. Keep up with the latest technology in the AV and live streaming space.

4. Work with Property and IT Committees to manage and maintain AV and multi-media assets, lighting, acoustics, music instruments and stage equipment.

5. Operate AV, multi-media equipment and livestream software to support church ministries and committees.

6. Work with Worship and Music Ministry to manage the AV servers roster, coordinate recruitment and technical training.

7. Liaise with vendors and external users for servicing and repairs.

8. Handle administrative matters for purchases and expenditure.

9. Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-in-Charge.

REQUIREMENTS

1. An excellent knowledge in live sound mixing, AV equipment and AV set-ups.

2. Diploma in Mass Communication, Audio-Visual and/or related technologies, Digital Media, or related technical fields.

3. A minimum of 2 years of work experience in related fields.

4. Good audio and video capture knowledge and in livestream video production, photo/video editing tools, working experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage.

5. Proficient in integrating computers with audio-visual and multi-media systems.

6. Good working attitude and a team player with the ability to work independently.

7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

8. Able to multi-task and perform under tight deadlines.
