As an Audience Specialist at ThinkChina, you will play a key role in working with the editorial and marketing teams to grow and engage our audience. You will help shape and implement strategies to drive traffic and engagement through SEO optimisation, social media strategy and email marketing, and audience insights from data analytics. You will also be involved in managing offline events and strategic partnerships.
Ultimately, you will help shape ThinkChina's audience growth strategy, coordinate messaging across different platforms and foster a vibrant and engaged community.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Optimise content strategy for audience growth through SEO, multi-channel promotion, A/B testing and strategic content scheduling.
- Build and manage ThinkChina's social media presence, drive engagement through targeted ad campaigns, monitor audience sentiment and collaborate with influencers to increase reach.
- Analyse audience data, track key performance metrics and create insightful reports with data visualisations to inform content strategy and performance.
- Develop and drive audience engagement through email marketing, online and offline events, and strategic partnerships to expand ThinkChina's reach.
- Stay current with industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and best practices.
We are looking for someone with:
- Degree in a relevant field, with a keen interest in China affairs
- Proficient in managing various social media platforms with experience in data analysis and reporting preferred e.g.Google Analytics
- Good copywriting, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills with the ability to break down complex ideas for different audiences
- Good project management skills with a meticulous and results-oriented approach, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
