We are looking for the Head of Region Asia-Pacific & Managing Director ATR Eastern Support (AES) in Singapore to join our company, reporting to the AES Board of Directors and functionally to ATR SVP Commercial.

Summary of the job description:

  • The job holder leads the representation of ATR in this region (:40% of our in-service fleet and orders), including commercial and customer support and services duties.
  • The job holder will, in particular, lead the ATR Eastern Support (AES) Team (:50 staff) with high integrity and according to the ATR leadership standards and values.
  • The job holder shall develop ATR in the region by developing adequate strategy, actively promoting ATR company products and services to prospective customers and stakeholders (federal and state governments, authorities, communities, airlines), and ensure appropriate customer support & services performance and future developments as need be.
  • The job holder shall build and maintain great work relationships with regional ATR operators, suppliers and other service providers. Customer support and Customer satisfaction should be unequivocally first on his/her mind.
  • The job holder will be responsible for managing the APAC aircraft sales support funnel in and the aircraft transaction origination performance together with the commercial team. He/she will have a regional air mobility strong advocacy role to play in the region.
  • The job holder aims to meet and exceed AES financial objectives including, but not limited, to revenues, sustaining costs, contribution margins and customer debt. In addition, he/she must ensure the Company's strict adherence to all taxation and other fiscal regulations at a local, state and federal level.
  • In terms of team members, the job holder ensures a culture of mutual respect, excellent collaboration and high performance among all AES team members. He/she shall lead by example and inspire his/her team to develop talents and skills that will enable them to excel in their respective roles. It is the responsibility of the job holder to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all ATR Eastern Support's team members.

Your Mission

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (General)

  • Formulate clear priorities & strategies for all sales support, customer support and service functions as well as for the associated cross-functional functions (finance, company secretary, etc.).
  • Lead and support teams in the delivery of their aircraft sales support and marketing efforts as well as services through integrated customer account management, where appropriate.
  • Implement plans to achieve expected results.
  • Maintain a working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to other ATR entities, ATR operators, suppliers and other service providers.
  • Provide frequent updates on the financial and operational situation of AES at ATR headquarters, prepare and hold semi-annual meetings with the Board of Directors of AES.

  • Lead by example and inspire the team to excel in customer support and meet the company's financial ambitions.
  • Define collective and individual goals in line with the company's overall vision and ambition.
  • Frequently monitor team performance in the context of these goals, intentionally communicate business strategic priorities with the team, and ensure alignment, collaboration, and adaptability among all team members to successfully execute these strategies.
  • Coach, train, mentor and advise team members and contribute to their professional development.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Customers)

  • Ensure a 360 view of customer accounts, including the market, fleet plan, aircraft purchase/lease, aircraft phase-out, required operational support.
  • Deliver on customer commitments, always according to the highest standards of customer service.
  • Build and maintain reliable relationships with customers, actively listen and help them in their journey to profitability. In doing so, provide support that will enable them to achieve high aircraft reliability, availability and cost-effectiveness. It is an escalation point for customers and manages internal actions as needed.
  • Provide a clear view from ATR HQ of customer complaints and perceptions.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities (Company)

  • Ensure teams comply with local, state, and federal regulations for ethics, compliance, and tax & customs requirements.
  • Develop executable strategies to increase sales revenue and market penetration, with a focus on optimizing gross margins responsibly, managing the company's cash flow. In doing so, closely monitor the payment behavior of customers in order to keep non-payments to a minimum.
  • Effectively control overall overhead costs and operate within OP objectives.
  • Represent ATR at regional aviation conferences and other industry-related events.

About You

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Science, Engineering, Aviation Management or Commercial / Business Administration.
  • At least fifteen years of aviation/aerospace experience. At least five years of direct or indirect management experience of a team.
  • Must be product quality conscious and understand Customers constraints and expectations.
  • Relevant experience in a customer facing role and commercial / sales role in commercial aviation and/or regional mobility is a must.
  • Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance and overall airline operations.
  • General knowledge of the APAC region industry.

Nous recherchons un Head of Region Asia-Pacific & Managing Director ATR Eastern Support (AES) bas(e) Singapour, pour rejoindre notre entreprise. Ce poste est rattach au Conseil d'administration d'AES et, sur le plan fonctionnel, au SVP Commercial d'ATR.

  • Le titulaire du poste reprsente ATR dans cette rgion (environ 40 % de notre flotte en service et des commandes), incluant les activits commerciales ainsi que le support et les services aux clients.
  • Il/elle dirigera notamment lquipe ATR Eastern Support (AES) (:50 collaborateurs) avec intgrit, conformment aux standards de leadership et aux valeurs d'ATR.
  • Il/elle dveloppera la prsence d'ATR dans la rgion en dfinissant une stratgie adapte, en promouvant activement les produits et services d'ATR auprs des clients potentiels et des parties prenantes (gouvernements nationaux et locaux, autorits, communauts, compagnies ariennes), et en garantissant un niveau de performance adquat du support et des services clients, ainsi que leur dveloppement futur si ncessaire.
  • Il/elle devra tablir et entretenir d'excellentes relations de travail avec les oprateurs ATR de la rgion, les fournisseurs et les prestataires de services. Le support client et la satisfaction client devront tre des priorits absolues.
  • Il/elle sera responsable de la gestion du pipeline rgional de support aux ventes d'avions en APAC ainsi que de la performance des opportunits de transactions, en collaboration avec lquipe commerciale. Il/elle jouera galement un rle cl de promotion de la mobilit arienne dans la rgion.
  • Il/elle visera atteindre et dpasser les objectifs financiers d'AES, notamment en matire de chiffre d'affaires, cots rcurrents, marges contributives et encours clients. Il/elle devra galement veiller au strict respect des rglementations fiscales et autres obligations financires aux niveaux local, rgional et national.
  • Concernant les quipes, il/elle instaurera une culture de respect mutuel, de collaboration efficace et de haute performance. Votre mission

Responsabilits principales (gnrales)

  • Dfinir des priorits et stratgies claires pour les activits de support aux ventes, de support client et de services, ainsi que pour les fonctions transverses associes (finance, secrtariat gnral, etc.).
  • Diriger et accompagner les quipes dans leurs activits de support aux ventes d'avions, de marketing et de services, notamment via une gestion intgre des comptes clients lorsque pertinent.
  • Mettre en uvre les plans permettant d'atteindre les rsultats attendus.
  • Maintenir des relations de travail solides avec les principales parties prenantes internes et externes, notamment les autres entits ATR, les oprateurs, les fournisseurs et les prestataires de services.
  • Fournir des mises jour rgulires sur la situation financire et oprationnelle d'AES au sige d'ATR, et prparer/animer des runions semestrielles avec le Conseil d'administration d'AES.

Responsabilits principales (quipe)

  • Montrer l'exemple et inspirer les quipes exceller dans le support client et atteindre les ambitions financires de l'entreprise.
  • Dfinir des objectifs collectifs et individuels aligns avec la vision et les ambitions globales de l'entreprise.
  • Suivre rgulirement la performance des quipes au regard de ces objectifs, communiquer clairement les priorits stratgiques et assurer l'alignement, la collaboration et l'agilit des quipes pour leur mise en uvre.
  • Accompagner, former, coacher et conseiller les collaborateurs, et contribuer leur dveloppement professionnel.

Responsabilits principales (clients)

  • Assurer une vision 360 des comptes clients (march, plan de flotte, achats/locations d'avions, retrait de flotte, besoins en support oprationnel).
  • Respecter les engagements clients selon les plus hauts standards de qualit de service.
  • tablir et maintenir des relations de confiance avec les clients, tre leur coute et les accompagner vers la rentabilit, en leur apportant un support favorisant la fiabilit, la disponibilit et la rentabilit des appareils. Il/elle agit comme point d'escalade et coordonne les actions internes si ncessaire.
  • Fournir au sige d'ATR une vision claire des retours et de la perception des clients.

Responsabilits principales (entreprise)

  • Veiller au respect par les quipes des rglementations locales, rgionales et nationales en matire dthique, de conformit, de fiscalit et de douanes.
  • Dfinir des stratgies oprationnelles pour accrotre le chiffre d'affaires et la pntration du march, tout en optimisant les marges de manire responsable et en grant la trsorerie de l'entreprise. Suivre troitement les comportements de paiement des clients afin de limiter les impays.
  • Matriser efficacement les frais gnraux et oprer dans le respect des objectifs du plan oprationnel (OP).
  • Reprsenter ATR lors de confrences aronautiques rgionales et autres vnements du secteur.

A propos de vous

Exigences minimales :

  • Diplme de niveau licence (ou quivalent) en sciences, ingnierie, gestion aronautique ou administration commerciale / des affaires.
  • Au moins quinze ans d'exprience dans le secteur de l'aviation/aronautique, dont au moins cinq ans d'exprience en management direct ou indirect dquipe.
  • MBA souhait mais non obligatoire.
  • Sensibilit forte la qualit des produits et bonne comprhension des contraintes et des attentes des clients.
  • Exprience significative dans des fonctions en contact avec les clients ainsi que dans des rles commerciaux dans l'aviation commerciale et/ou la mobilit rgionale.
  • Bonne connaissance de la maintenance aronautique et des oprations globales des compagnies ariennes.
  • Connaissance gnrale du secteur dans la rgion APAC.
