WHO WE ARE

SFC also manages Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) and The Cocoon Space (TCS):

DORS, the retail showcase located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally based designer brands in Singapore.

About the Role

Join the Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) and play a role in shaping Singapore as a regional hub for responsible fashion.

We are looking for a resourceful and driven Assistant Manager, Sustainability to support sustainability initiatives, while leading the delivery of Impact Retail (IR). one of SFC's flagship programmes. This role is suited for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, working with diverse stakeholders, and translating sustainability into tangible, consumer-facing experiences.

What You'll Do

Lead Impact Retail (IR)

  • Take ownership of the delivery and execution of Impact Retail (exhibitions, workshops, activations)
  • Coordinate designers, brands, vendors, and partners to bring the programme to life
  • Support shaping of programme direction, partner mix, and experience design (with guidance)
  • Ensure smooth on-ground execution and strong audience engagement

Support Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with brands, solution providers, NGOs, and institutions
  • Support stakeholder engagement, coordination, and follow-ups
  • Contribute to building and maintaining partnerships across initiatives

Support Programme Execution

  • Assist in planning and delivery of sustainability initiatives (e.g. pilots, workshops, roundtables)
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external partners
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and ensure alignment across workstreams

Support Content & Proposals

  • Assist in developing presentations, concept notes, and proposals
  • Support research and content development for sustainability initiatives

Who You Are

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience (partnerships, programme coordination, events, sustainability, or related fields)
  • Experience in owning or managing projects end-to-end (even at small to mid-scale)
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working with different stakeholders
  • Organised and able to manage multiple workstreams
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in sustainability, fashion, or consumer engagement
