Job Description

Responsibilities

To establish new partnerships and nurture existing partnerships with stakeholders in the community.

To work as a team to plan and execute fundraising strategies to raise the necessary funds to support the cause, and to build relationship with donors.

To take responsibility for assigned fundraising projects and activities, with start to end follow through.

To apply for funding and ensure accountability of donations received by APSN through the approved platforms.

To Identify new and potential partners and donors to meet fundraising targets

To work synergistically with Communications to develop marketing collateral and create content for communication platforms to increase mindshare, and promote events and campaigns.

To manage partner and donor database, and maintain regular communication with them.

To design and develop fundraising events to meet annual fundraising targets.

To oversee outings for students/trainees/clients in collaboration with external service providers, relevant government agencies, corporate partners and community partners.

To support the Schools, Centres and Shared Services on their needs in the areas of partnerships, fundraising and volunteerism.

To be involved in any other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Mass Communication or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills.
  • IT savvy and able to learn to manage new systems easily like donation management system, volunteer management system, enterprise systems, etc.
  • Familiar with MS Office, Google Drive, and presentation software.
  • Attention to details, with the ability to work independently and in a team, to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to nurture relationships with stakeholders of varying levels.
  • Positive outlook with a can-do attitude.
  • Highly self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, committed and driven, with focus on fundraising and partnerships.
  • Strong proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written. A second language will be an added advantage.
