We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to support business growth within the Defence and Enterprise Technology sector.
In this role, you will engage customers as a trusted technology partner, driving new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts. You will collaborate closely with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to position and deliver system and network solutions across Singapore and the region.
This role is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong ownership and a passion for sales in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and understand customer needs
- Proactively generate leads through territory coverage, networking, and digital channels
- Engage potential clients, understand requirements, and position suitable solutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products and services
- Maintain sales pipeline, reports, and forecasting with accurate financial data
- Assess deal progress and forecast closure probability
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
- Negotiate and close deals while managing objections and client concerns
- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, support, and marketing teams to achieve targets
- Gather market feedback and share insights with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Government or Enterprise sectors
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for Manager-level role
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce or CRM tools is an advantage
- Technical understanding of IT solutions or services is preferred
- Strong business acumen with pipeline and sales forecasting experience
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Comfortable engaging clients through presentations, calls, and meetings
