Job Summary

You will manage the full spectrum of HR and administration functions, collaborating with business leaders to optimize workforce management and ensure compliance within a dynamic cleaning services company.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and post job descriptions, screen and shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and onboard new employees to meet recruitment needs
  • Collaborate with department heads to align recruitment strategies with business objectives
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with HR policies and procedures to uphold organizational standards
  • Prepare and review payroll worksheets and overtime calculations, ensuring accurate CPF, IRAS, and MOM submissions
  • Generate monthly payroll and HR reports to support management decision-making
  • Ensure adherence to labour laws regarding employment contracts, benefits, and workplace rights
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including hiring, training, onboarding, offboarding, and work pass administration
  • Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues to maintain a positive work environment
  • Design and implement employee performance improvement programs to enhance productivity
  • Oversee office operations including equipment and facilities management, and assist with ISO compliance matters
  • Coordinate staff training to develop competencies and skills aligned with job requirements
  • Prepare HR-related correspondence and maintain organized HR files for record-keeping and audit purposes
  • Manage employee attendance and leave records accurately to support workforce planning
  • Control HR department budget and propose cost-effective HR solutions collaborate with management on manpower budgeting and cost control

Required competencies and certifications

  • Strong understanding of MOM regulations, Employment Act, and CPF rules
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Effective people-management skills to lead and support teams
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and engage effectively with personnel at all organizational levels

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar HR role
  • Industry experience in cleaning or facilities
