Associate Video Editor Full Time

High-Speed Sports & Entertainment Editing | After Effects | Weekly Turnarounds

We're looking for an associate Video Editor who can handle fast, high-pressure weekly production cycles for a global sports show. You should be someone who thrives in tight turnarounds, delivers consistent quality, and takes full ownership of your output.

If you're the type who works reliably, communicates clearly, and can assemble high-energy edits with both speed and finesse - you'll fit right in.

Responsibilities

Edit fast-paced weekly episodes for an established international NBA show

Work with provided scripts, references, and graphics to build tight, high-energy cuts

Source footage

Assemble sequences, sound design, pacing, and story flow under short timelines

Create and adapt motion graphics in After Effects (lower thirds, transitions, punch-ins, highlights, simple animation work)

Manage and organise project files, assets, and timelines efficiently

Render, export, and deliver files with 100% accuracy and on-time

Communicate proactively when something is unclear or a deadline is at risk

Collaborate with producers and editors through Slack, Asana/Notion, or Google Drive

Requirements

Exceptional speed you can take a rough assembly to a polished cut quickly

Strong eye for pacing, music timing, and story movement

After Effects proficiency clean keyframes, smooth transitions, organised comps

High reliability consistent delivery, no disappearing, no surprises

Strong English communication

Ability to maintain quality under pressure

Experience editing sports, highlights, entertainment, YouTube, or fast-cut formats is a big plus

A portfolio that clearly shows fast-paced editing and AE work
