Associate Trainer

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

• Conduct WSQ-accredited Environmental Services courses (e.g., cleaning operations, workplace safety and health, infection control, waste management).

• Deliver lessons using adult learning principles and competency-based training (CBT) methodology.

• Facilitate classroom, practical, and on-site training sessions.

• Demonstrate correct use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and machinery.

2. Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct assessments in accordance with WSQ competency standards.

• Evaluate trainees performance through practical and written assessments.

• Provide constructive feedback and remedial coaching when necessary.

• Ensure proper documentation of assessment records and results.

3. Course Administration

• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools.

• Maintain accurate attendance, training records, and reports.

• Ensure compliance with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and training provider requirements.

• Support audit preparation and quality assurance processes.

4. Industry & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all training aligns with Environmental Public Health and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.

• Promote safe work practices and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.

• Keep updated with industry trends, new cleaning technologies, and regulatory changes.

5. Coaching & Mentorship

• Provide guidance and career advice to trainees.

• Support trainees in workplace application of learned skills.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• ACTA / ACLP certification (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment / Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance).

• Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate or higher qualification in Environmental Services.

• At least 3-5 years of industry experience in environmental services, cleaning operations, or facilities management.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

• Familiarity with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and WSQ framework.
