- Manage benchmark onboarding, working with internal stakeholders and external data vendors and counter parties
- Perform benchmark data operations, investigate and resolve data exceptions and data quality issues independently
- Handle operational and non-routine queries/request from business users in a professional and timely manner
- Develop, implement and maintain controls and workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of data
- Establish strong rapport and engagement with business users and internal/external stakeholders to better anticipate and address their needs
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role
- Degree in Finance, Business, or related fields with minimum 2-4 years of relevant working experience in index onboarding and data management
- Possess good knowledge of financial instruments and markets. An additional qualification like CFA will be considered favourably
- Experience with data providers such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Markit and others would be preferred
- Passion for data and process-oriented analysis with strong analytic and business diagnostic skills
- Meticulous and detail oriented, with rigor for thoroughness and controls
- Strong data / analytics capabilities (ideally with some coding experience)
- Strong learning agility with the ability to connect the dots.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong learning agility
- Team player with the willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment
