About the Role:

As an Associate Sourcing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the sourcing, development, and delivery of high-quality, competitively priced proprietary products. The role is execution-focused and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, quality, and supply continuity requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability & Ownership

  • Support sourcing strategy and execution for assigned products or categories, contributing to cost savings, total cost improvements, and supply continuity
  • Take ownership of assigned sourcing activities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and regulatory standards
  • Assist in identifying and escalating supply, quality, or cost risks, and support mitigation and contingency planning

Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with the Sourcing Manager to support supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and preparation of data-driven commercial recommendations
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Global Procurement, and Tactical Sourcing teams
  • Coordinate sampling, validation, and artwork activities to support smooth progression through development milestones

Business & Market Insight

  • Support evaluation of sourcing options using a cost, risk, and operational impact lens
  • Monitor supply markets and industry developments, highlighting potential impacts to availability, cost, or risk
  • Assist in analyzing supplier cost changes and preparing insights to support sourcing decisions

Execution Excellence

  • Work closely with Quality and Regulatory partners to support specifications, documentation, and issue resolution
  • Contribute ideas to improve sourcing processes, supplier engagement models, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivery commitments

Skills Required:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related role within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders preferred.
  • Exposure to international sourcing and regulated products is an advantage.
  • Strong execution, organization, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to converse in Mandarin as the hiring manager is based in China
