About Cloudwise
Cloudwise is looking for an Associate Solutions Architect to support enterprise customers across financial services, telecommunications, and large commercial organizations in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region.
This role is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting who are looking to grow into an enterprise solutions architecture career path.
You will work closely with senior architects, sales teams, and delivery engineers to help customers design scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
- Support the design of cloud, hybrid-cloud, and observability solutions aligned with customer needs and best practices.
- Assist in preparing architecture diagrams, technical proposals, solution presentations, and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs).
- Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, and solution discussions alongside senior solution architects and account managers.
- Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical and implementable.
- Support troubleshooting, solution optimization, and technical validation activities when required.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in cloud computing, observability, AIOps, and enterprise IT operations.
- Ensure proposed solutions follow security, compliance, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 2–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Cloud Engineering
- Infrastructure Engineering
- Technical Support
- Pre-sales Engineering
- Technical Consulting
- System Integration
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Linux, networking, virtualization, databases, or middleware technologies.
- Exposure to monitoring, observability, ITSM, DevOps, or automation tools is advantageous.
- Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- AWS/Azure/GCP certifications are a plus.
- English proficiency required; Mandarin is an advantage for regional collaboration.
