About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Senior Investment Analyst to join our investment team. This role provides broad exposure across multiple sectors of public listed markets - including technology, healthcare, consumer, financials, industrials, and energy - making it ideal for a driven professional who thrives on uncovering opportunities across diverse industries.

The successful candidate will support the full investment process, from idea generation through to portfolio monitoring, working closely with senior portfolio managers and sector specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

. Conduct deep fundamental research and financial analysis on publicly listed equities across multiple sectors

. Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, sum-of-the-parts, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions)

. Synthesise macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and company-specific data to develop actionable investment theses

. Prepare well-structured investment memos and present recommendations to the investment committee

Portfolio Management Support

. Monitor existing portfolio positions, tracking financial performance, news flow, and key risk factors

. Maintain and update valuation models regularly, incorporating earnings results and macro developments

. Identify key catalysts and risks for portfolio holdings and propose risk management actions as appropriate

Market Intelligence

. Track sector-specific developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics across covered listed markets

. Generate and maintain a pipeline of investment ideas in public equities through proprietary research and market analysis

. Engage with company management teams, investor relations, industry experts, and sell-side analysts

Collaboration & Communication

. Collaborate cross-functionally with portfolio managers, risk, and operations teams

. Prepare clear, concise, and insightful commentary for internal and externalstakeholders

. Contribute to ESG integration, thematic research initiatives, and special projects asrequired

Technology & Systems

. Work closely with the technology team on the setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance of proprietary trading algorithms

. Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of internal databases and data infrastructure used for research and investment analysis

. Liaise with the tech team to evaluate, implement, and maintain software tools relevant to valuation, portfolio analytics, and research workflows

Qualifications & Experience

Eligibility

. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

Education

. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline (required)

. CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA designation strongly preferred

. MBA or Master's in Finance from a reputable institution is an advantage

Experience

. 5to 7 years of relevant investment experience in equity research, asset management, or a related field focused on public listed markets

. Demonstrated ability to cover and analyse companies across two or more sectors

. Track record of generating original investment ideas and contributing to investment decision-making

. Experience with both long and short investment analysis is a plus

Skills & Competencies

. Exceptional financial modelling and valuation skills across multiple methodologies

. Strong written and verbal communication skills able to present complex ideas clearly and concisely

. High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Bloomberg, FactSet, or equivalent data platforms

. Familiarity with trading systems, algorithmic strategies, or quantitative tools ability to work productively with technology and engineering teams

. Experience with database management or scripting (e.g. Python, SQL) for data extraction and analysis is an advantage

. Intellectually curious with a genuine passion for markets and investing

. Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

. Strong ethical standards and sound professional judgement
