What we are looking for

This role is for our Technology team, which works with technology companies on regulatory, transactional, intellectual property and employment matters.

We are looking for a 2 - 4 PQE Associate or Senior Associate with strong background in regulatory and commercial work, preferably for technology companies, gained either at a reputable law firm or within an in-house legal team.

You will be a good fit for this role if you have:

  • Prior experience in TMT or an area of commercial law with cross-applicable skills.
  • Prior experience with business and consumer technology contracts (preferred but not required).
  • Prior experience withdata protection, cybersecurity and content lawsandother regulations applicable to the technology industry (preferred but not required).
  • Prior experience with intellectual property and employment laws (preferred but not required).
  • The acumen to deliverclear, practical, and commercially minded legal advice.
  • Aproactive attitude and the confidence to engage directly with clients.
  • A genuine curiosity aboutemerging technologiesand how they reshape the legal and business landscape.

What you will work on

As an Associate / Senior Associate at Ghows LLC, you will work closely with our Associate Director and Managing Director on a diverse range of technology, intellectual property, privacy, corporate transactions and employment matters. There is a primary focus on clients in the technology industry, across established sectors such asmobile, computer andconsole gaming,software development,electronicsand hardware manufacturing, fintech, social mediaande-commerce as well as new and emerging technologies such asblockchain,artificial intelligence, carbon emissions and materials technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on a wide range of technology-related agreements, including SaaS, terms of service, licensing, cloud services, and software development partnership/ subcontractor agreements.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance (for example, laws and regulations affecting businesses in the gaming, AI, blockchain, fintech industry).
  • Support clients in due diligence, structuring and closing multi-jurisdictional technology transactions involving critical IP and project management elements.
  • Collaborate with and being front-facing with clients and other law firms whom we work with.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, government positions and regulatory developments to provide proactive, forward-looking advice.

Other Requirements

  • Admitted to practise law in Singapore / Singapore-qualified.
  • Excellent working proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in AI tools preferred but not required.
