Work you'll do

The Deloitte Center for the Edge serves our clients in understanding the fundamental changes shaping the world, navigate innovation on the frontiers and identify long-term opportunities for business growth.

The role of Executive will give the candidate a unique opportunity to work with a wide array of clients on the adoption of emerging technologies. The role will enable the candidate to stretch their critical thinking and problem-solving skills and network with executive level clients as well as Deloitte leaders. They will be responsible for supporting business development efforts, designing and delivering client interactions and workshops, researching emerging trends and hosting public events and programs.

The ideal candidate is agile and adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced work environment. A strong curiosity to learn and personal drive are crucial to excel in the role, along with an interest in emerging technologies and business model transformation. Good project management skills, facilitation and presentation skills will be a strong advantage.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in shaping new business offerings in frontier areas, particularly in the Chinese technology landscape. The candidate will be involved in driving internal stakeholder and external client interactions, preparing and delivering workshops, developing events and programs, and conducting research:

Research and writing

• Conduct market research, produce reports and other collaterals on the Chinese technology landscape.

Business Development

• Work with internal stakeholders across Deloitte's business units to identify and shape commercial opportunities and future offerings related to Chinese hyperscalers and other China-based platforms.
• Develop relevant ecosystem networks to deepen our understanding of the landscape
• Prepare client-ready collateral and support proposal efforts to engage clients

Programs and events

• Support the team in preparing for client interactions and workshops
• Organize programs and events, including networking sessions, webinars, speaker series, and bespoke events.
• Identify and develop partnerships with relevant external parties to co-create and co-deliver on programs and events.
• Support the team on other administrative and logistics tasks

Requirements

• Fresh graduates may apply.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and able to operate effectively in ambiguity.
• Hunger for learning and curiosity about the future of technology, business and society.
• Proficiency with using AI tools.
• Strong research skills.
• Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Keen understanding or interest in the China technology landscape.
