Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the shipping industry, a hunter mentality, and the ability to sell based on value rather than price. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a competitive environment and is passionate about driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with ship owners and key decision-makers.
  • Drive new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Present and promote our solutions based on value propositions, not price competition.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Industry Network: Established connections with ship owners and operators.
  • Sales Mindset: Proven track record as a hunter with strong business development skills.
  • Value-Based Selling: Ability to articulate and sell solutions based on value rather than cost.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maritime, shipping, or related industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in marine services, ship management, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
