Job Description

Our client, a European medical technology company specialising in advanced surgical systems is looking for a high-impact role responsible for accelerating sales growth and expanding market share for advanced operating theatre solutions across Southeast Asia. The role demands a commercially driven individual who can aggressively develop new business, strengthen distributor performance, and drive rapid adoption of surgical technologies. The position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Own and aggressively drive revenue growth across Southeast Asia, consistently delivering and exceeding sales targets
  • Maximise distributor performance through tight management, clear KPIs, and regular performance reviews
  • Proactively hunt for new business opportunities, expanding the installed base within hospitals and surgical centres
  • Build strong, influential relationships with surgeons, operating theatre teams, hospital management, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to accelerate product adoption
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, clinical training, and workshops to drive utilisation and repeat sales
  • Identify competitive threats and act decisively with pricing, positioning, and value-based selling strategies
  • Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline management and disciplined CRM usage to ensure visibility and accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
  • Proven track record with at least 3 years of exceeding sales targets in medical devices, ideally within operating theatre, surgical, or capital equipment segments
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in distributor management and direct hospital selling
  • Deep understanding of surgical workflows and hospital procurement dynamics
  • Highly driven, competitive, and results-oriented with a strong hunter mentality
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior clinicians and decision-makers
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia
