Job Description

  • The Associate Psychologist assist in the provision of holistic psychological services that are caregiver/client-focused to the clientele of the assigned AWWA program and/or organisation/s
  • Assist in managing, coordinating, and conducting formal and informal psychological assessments under supervision
  • Assist in preparing assessment reports with scoring and interpretation of results
  • Attend and assist with case discussions, placement meetings, and case conference meetings as well as chair these meetings when necessary
  • Assist in formulating, implementing and evaluating evidence-based, data-driven programmes or intervention plans in collaboration with teams
  • Empower client and caregiver on methods to enhance health and functioning through self-management strategies
  • Assist in the delivery psychoeducational programs and rehabilitation workshops for clients, caregivers, colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Perform data collection and analysis to support research
  • Adhere to professional standards in clinical, legal, ethical, health and safety practices

Other Responsibilities

  • To assist in ad-hoc projects/committees as and when required by the Head of Psychology
  • To perform any other duties as directed by the Program Head / Director

Job Specifications

Minimum Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelors (with honours) in Psychology from an accredited university with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • They will work under the supervision of a qualified psychologist for at least 2 years.

  • 0-2 years of working experience
