Responsibilities
This Singapore-based role supports editors at CNA's International Desk, correspondents across the region and affiliates around the world in producing compelling content for the channel's daily news programmes, the weekly half-hour show CNA Correspondent and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the smooth and timely turnaround and media management of deliverables from correspondents and affiliates.
- Provide all aspects of video editing support for the CNA Correspondent programme and special projects, including editing of video effects, soundtrack editing and mixing, among others.
- Write and produce content when asked, under the guidance of the International Desk editors.
Qualifications
Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma in Mass Communication, or Film, Sound and Video, or the equivalent.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience in the television broadcast industry.
- Sound knowledge of non-linear video editing systems.
- Sound knowledge of file and video formats and mastering techniques.
- Keen interest in news and current affairs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to liaise and communicate with colleagues and others around the world.
- Dynamic individual with lots of drive and initiative, able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Prepared to work shifts and irregular hours.
- Experience working with AI tools for research or fact-checking.
