About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Procurement Specialist for a 6-month contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement and logistics, from purchasing arcade machines and spare parts to sourcing toys and prizes for our online prize store.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, organized, and able to manage multiple stakeholders across regions. Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are essential, as the role involves daily coordination with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure arcade games, spare parts, and prize inventory manage purchase orders end-to-end.
  • Coordinate international shipments (sea freight, air freight) to Perth and Singapore, including container loading, insurance, and all required documentation.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve any procurement or logistics issues promptly.Oversee prize store operations: maintaining accurate product listings, pricing items, and reviewing margin performance.
  • Ensure timely procurement and shipping of spare parts for arcade machines to support ongoing operations.
  • Act as a primary point-of-contact for suppliers and logistics partners across multiple regions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, with a focus on sea freight and international shipping.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin, required for regular coordination with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with wholesalers and manufacturers.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Understanding of pricing and margin calculations comfortable reviewing costs and profitability.
  • Analytical mindset, proactive problem-solver, and clear communicator.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating with international teams.

Nice to have skills (not mandatory):

  • Experience with arcade games, amusement products, or consumer goods.
  • Exposure to e-commerce product management (updating catalogs, pricing strategies).
  • Familiarity with logistics software or procurement systems.

Qualification/Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience in procurement, operations, or logistics will also be considered.
