Associate - Private Wealth Management
Key Responsibilities
1. Investment Sales Support & Client Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding investment products, market updates and portfolio status.
- Support the RM in preparing pitch books,investment proposals, and portfolio reviews tailored to HNW client needs.
- Assist in the Investment Sales process by identifying client needs and ensuring all product disclosures are communicated clearly.
2. Trade Execution & Portfolio Monitoring
- Perform multi-asset trade execution (Equities,Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.) and trade booking with high precision.
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including order confirmations, position monitoring, and daily P&L tracking.
- Oversee the dealing infrastructure and systems to ensure the smooth processing of investment products.
3. Compliance, Risk & Credit Management
- Onboarding: Lead the KYC (Know YourCustomer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes for new client onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Documentation: Maintain absolute accuracy in sales documentation, product agreements, and Service Level Agreements(SLAs).
- Credit: Assist management in credit monitoring, collateral management and limit setting for leveraged clients.
- Regulatory: Keep abreast of MAS(Singapore) and regional regulatory changes to ensure frameworks and tools remain compliant.
4. Ecosystem Liaison & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with the Hong Kong Investment Products team to align product offerings and regional strategies.
- Partner with Technology, Operations, and Risk departments to troubleshoot system issues and optimize dealing workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through better use of internal systems and tools.
Requirements :
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Certifications: CMFAS Modules (M1B, M5,M6, M6A, M8, M8A) are highly preferred for Singapore-based roles. There may bea need to take additional certifications.
- Experience: 3-5 years in Private Banking or Wealth Management, with a strong background in trade execution and KYC.
- Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin is often essential for this role given the frequent liaison with the Hong Kong office and Greater China client base.
