The Role
We are looking for an Associate Partner to join Antler's investment team in one of our locations in Singapore to work closely with our team on sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and managing our investments in future category leading companies.
Antler SG Pte. Ltd. invests in companies in the region across multiple sectors at the stages of Pre-Launch, Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A. Responsibilities
As an Analyst at Antler Southeast Asia, you will:
- Investments: Source and evaluate the best investment opportunities in Singapore and around the SEA regions
- Fundraising: Establish and raise the funds with the broader SEA and Japan team
- Portfolio Management: Ensure high quality and success of portfolio companies - help the companies achieve Seed and Series A funding by supporting their fundraising process and help with strategy, introductions, and bringing them the best expertise of Antler's network
- Analyze business plans, markets, industries and technology trends
- Support diligence on potential investments using a range of quantitative and qualitative tools and methods
- Assume ownership of the end-to-end investment process, including preparation of investment committees and deal execution support
Requirements
Successful candidates for this role will have:
- A master degree from a top-tier university with 6-8 years of full-time work experience in fast-paced environments (i.e., top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or successful growth startup).
- Ability to take full ownership and self-drive in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex ideas.
- Ability to perform analytical exercises (e.g., market sizing)
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated interest in startups and technology.
- Confident relationship builder, with an ability to build trust with founders and develop strong relationships in the VC ecosystem.
