Associate, Operations
We are looking for a candidate to be part of our Operations team within Golden Equator Capital Pte. Ltd. (GEC). The candidate will perform the wealth/multi-family office (MFO) operations function and support its fund administration requirements, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
Responsibilities
Perform MFO Operations Function:
- Key point of contact between partner banks / brokers and GEC for matters such as relationship establishment and maintenance in line with their requirements, appointment and allocation of authorised signatories and accesses.
- Provide Family Office Advisors (FOA) and FOA Assistants with operational support for bank account openings and maintenance.
- E-banking platform set-up, maintenance and effective use for data retrieval purposes.
- Maintenance of GEC's client and asset under management listing for operational and regulatory purposes.
- Quarterly management fees, retrocession fees and performance fees calculation, supporting finance in billing.
- Consolidation of statements and transaction monitoring in support of business planning and compliance requirements, including preparation and reconciliation of records for regulatory surveys and internal reporting.
- Review, maintain and implement operations process documentation, including the Operations Manual.
- Manage other operational processes and maintenance according to business needs, including maintenance and adherence to the operations calendar.
Support the Team in Fund Operations:
- Support team in full end-to-end process of the fund management cycle, in particular for fund maintenance and reporting of existing funds: managing fund bank accounts and cash flow (including payments and receipt thereof) investment drawdowns investor subscriptions and redemptions management fee and performance fee invoicing etc.
Requirements
- Accounting, business, economics finance related diploma or degree with 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in audit, fund administration, or operational roles in financial institutions.
- Understanding of accounting and finance, with motivation and willingness to deepen understanding in this field.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong with numbers, with a good mix of analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Organised and with attention to detail.
- Team player that is willing to work and learn within a lean team - able to take responsibility, prioritise tasks, and provide solutions to business needs.
